During the course of this process, they will acquire technical skills and stretch their boundaries in the use of paint and other material in developing their ideas.

Peter Porteous (Andrew Gemmill has retired)

While still touching on traditionalism and painting theory, the focus of this class is to explore a more casual, spontaneous, free-flowing and expressive forum.
The various applications of paint and water will create movement, which enhances the play of light, mood and atmosphere. This will be incorporated into various subjects. The essence of each student's unique style and creativity will therefore be absorbed into their work.
